• Renkus-Heinz Iconyx Compact Series 12/3-RN Array Loudspeaker

Renkus-Heinz has recently launched the new Iconyx Compact Series 12/3-RN, a single array loudspeaker designed to provide integration options in “medium-sized” applications common in the house of worship, corporate, transportation, education, and government markets.

“The ICC12/3 is a natural progression of the offerings we’ve released over the past year,” says Matt Czyzewski, president of Renkus-Heinz. “It provides a digitally steerable offering in an incredibly compact footprint, allowing for sensational sound in even more locations.

“We worked with our integration partners and distributors on what they believed they needed to win more jobs and to put sound exactly where they want it,” he continues. “The ICC12/3 is the result of that collaborative work.”

The 12/3-RN offers the digital steering performance of the Iconyx Series as well as high vertical directivity in a narrow cabinet that fits aesthetically into architecturally sensitive spaces. A new 12-channel digital amplifier powers a dozen 3-inch full-range, treated paper cone drivers, meaning that each driver has its own amplifier and DSP channel.

The new loudspeaker utlizes proprietary RHAON II beam-steering with the latest U.R.G.O beam algorithms, multiple beam opening angles and high-pass filtering of individual beams. Standard RN units have analog and AES inputs. An included wall-mount bracket is designed to be inconspicuous, based behind the louspeaker.

The Iconyx Compact Series 12/3-RN is available now.
