• HVL stadium series from RCF shipping

RCF has announced the availability of its HVL series for large arenas and outdoor stadiums requiring long-throw capabilities. The HVL Series provides modular and scalable speakers in a weather-proof cabinet that combines six RCF transducers in a symmetrical, horn loaded configuration. Initially designed for football stadiums in the USA, HVL Series is now available to the market.

HVL Series speakers are designed to provide concert-level performance in arena-sized venues. Featuring point source, line source, and subwoofers speakers, all modules embed RCF Transducer featuring neodymium magnetic circuits as well as new voice coil ventilation systems and voice coil assemblies.

RCF states that HVl will reduce commissioning time due the series' modular array-ability and deliver multiple directivity indexes (Q), and small footprint in comparison to its power. HVL can also reportedly lower overall system costs by delivering full coverage with fewer modules precisely matching the audience area.

As well as the standard models, tailor-made equipment based on the client’s needs is also possible.

HVL 15 cabinets are outfitted with a pair of 15-inch drivers at the low-end, a pair of 10-inch midrange drivers, and two titanium dome compression drivers with four-inch voice coils at the top. With a frequency response of 43 Hz – 18,000 Hz (-10 dB), these three-way, long-throw boxes are driven in bi-amped mode and are capable of producing a maximum SPL of 133 dB (LF) and 145 dB (MHF). Two coverage options available: 90° x 30° (L) and 60° x 30° (P) and one bass module (S).
