These models include a dust proof bag that protects the speaker unit and circuitry from dust and moisture during installation.

All VC models feature a lightweight, low-profile housing, with either black or white finish. The supplied grilles can also be painted to match interior decor.

Connections for both low impedance (16-ohm) as well as high impedance; for the latter the input wattage is switched with a tap on the front of the speaker (after removing the magnetic grille). 4-wire removable Euro-blocks are used for connection.

All models feature a quick mounting systems wiuth large clamps to ensure secure mounting. The VC8, VC6 and VC4 feature a built-in carrying band, which makes them easier to carry and enhances safety when installers are working on stepladders.

“We are very pleased to announce the addition of six new VC series speakers to our acclaimed Commercial Installation Solutions lineup,” says Chihaya ‘Chick’ Hirai, General Manager of Yamaha’s Pro Audio marketing and sales department.

“As the tagline ‘Premium Sounding Compact Ceiling Speakers at a Non-Premium Price’ suggests, the VC Series provides a no-compromise choice in sound quality and design for a wide range of applications, from restaurants to those which require large numbers of speakers, such as shopping malls, large department stores, event venues and multiple conference rooms.”
