Peavey Electronics unveils PVs Series subwoofers

Peavey Electronics introduces PVs Series subwoofers for live applications. It consists of three models, PVs 18; PVs 15; and the compact PVs 12. Each unit begins with a vented bass powered subwoofer enclosure at 1,000 W peak power and a 18, 15, and 12 inches woofer, respectively.

Bass Enhancement, an electronic bass boost functionality is provided on all models. Additionally, each unit’s power amp has forced air cooling.

Built-in crossovers and outputs (two high-pass outputs and one full-range thru XLR) are featured for flexibility. Input uses a XLR/quarter-inch combo jack. All three units have DSP-based (digital signal processing) crossover, compression, limiting, polarity and EQ.

PVs Series Subwoofers are made with a full-coverage, heavy-duty perforated steel grille as well as steel handles and locking casters with damped bearings. A threaded pole mount with an included speaker pole is also provided.
