Eminence announces Omega Pro 2KW cone speakers

Eminence has announced Omega Pro 2KW speakers, a series of high power transducers that starts with Omega Pro 12-2KW-8 and the Omega Pro 15-2KW-8.

Featuring an inside/outside 4" fibreglass coils and , the 12-2KW-8 (12") and 15-2KW-8 (15") are reportedly able to get low in small vented boxes and boast nominal power handling of 1000W (2000W programme).

With a magnet weight of 109 oz, impedance is 8Ω for both. Cone and dust-cap have Water Resistant treatment. Recommended applications include midbass, woofer, subwoofer and bass guitar use in vented or scoop/horn loaded cabinets.
