• Biamp introduces Voltera D Amplified Loudspeaker Controllers

Biamp Voltera D Amplified Loudspeaker ControllersBiamp introduced the Voltera D series of networked amplified loudspeaker controllers (ALCs), which offer onboard digital signal processors.

Voltera D ALCs are available in 1200-watt or 2400-watt configurations across four or eight channels. The Voltera D line is configurable by either Tesira or the new Biamp VenueTune software, depending on user preference and audio network protocols.

Voltera D provides support of both AVB and Dante and raised cosine EQ below 160 Hz.

The new VenueTune software offers control through a graphical interface, which uses 2D floorplans and a staged workflow to guide system designers and installers. The software also provides performance and usage logging over time.

“The Voltera D series is designed to provide extraordinary audio experiences for the most demanding applications where the audio must stay on and a protective mute isn’t acceptable,” said Joe Andrulis, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Biamp. “Through our new VenueTune software, installers and designers enjoy a simplified design process and deployment of Voltera D ALCs, including the ability to select what amplifiers to drive the speakers with and the ability to predict the current draw and heat dissipation. They also get powerful system tuning and comprehensive system performance monitoring.”

    Zoom Certifications
Biamp's Parlé conferencing bars are now certified for Zoom. Additionally, the Parlé VBC 2500a conferencing bar and Vidi 250 conferencing camera are now Certified for Zoom Intelligent Director. Intelligent Director is powered by AI and utilizes multiple cameras to give each participant within a meeting room their own space in a Zoom Meeting, with the best image and angle, so remote participants can see each person clearly, even in large conference rooms.

Parlé conferencing bars are now also compatible with Mersive, Barco, ScreenBeam, Airtame, and Crestron wireless collaboration systems.
